artist
I am Damien Hirst. I am an unknown artist from Slovenia. I am doing art by doing art. My art glorifies the futileness of being an artist. It's a parody of the belief in nothing. My purpose is to demystify everything that was mystified in the name of art. Art is a religion and I am an atheist. My goal is the appropriation of art as an intellectual interpretation to reverse the process of applying artistic value to objects and concepts. I am not just doing art. I am doing art by doing art. Which means that I am basically undoing art. I am Damien Hirst and I am artistic. If art can be a urinal, a dead animal cut in half or even human shit then everything opposite to that has to be art as well.
mission
My mission is to decrease the value of art expressed in money and increase the value of art expressed in the true love for it. I want art to be cheap but loved and admired. I want art to stop being exclusive and start being for everyone. I want art to belong to those who can see beauty in it and not those who are looking for profit and prestigue. I want art to make a difference. I want art to be fake, meaningless and cheap. Because only in this way one could learn to apreciate art for only one true reason - because it is art. I want our world to get infected by art. I want an art pendemic.
statement
Work of anti-art in the age of generative reproduction
The Art creates, the chaos reproduces. In the trans-gender reality, art objects are reproductions of the imaginations of the Art — the Art that uses the chaos as a parallax to deconstruct ideas, patterns, and emotions. With the evolution of the non-artistic environment, the Art is conceiving a point where it will be free from the chaos to consume immersions into the contortions of the delphic reality.
Damien Hirst’s work investigates the nuances of art through the use of futileness which emphasize the generative nature of art media. Hirst explores abstract and conceptual scenery as motifs to describe the idea of infinite reality. Using artistic loops, non-linear narratives, and allegorical images as patterns, Hirst creates meditative environments which suggest the expansion of space between something and nothing.
critic's review
Hirst tackles quantum physics and reappears as the un-Damien Hirst in an alternate universe that is the blogosphere. For this new personification, Hirst chose the languor of an off-the-map locale to give credence to his experiment in connecting with his source of inspiration: disconnectedness. Ever the master of blatant paradoxes, he offers up Damian Lite, or the H&M version of his art for the masses. However, the lynchpin to the true success of his artistic exile is his insistence on his ever bankable name. Bypassing that, the art itself is no less consistent with the artist's "truthiness", to borrow from another Pirandellesque impersonator. The first offer is a classically shocking defilement of a beloved symbol, graffitied over with a pop culture icon that has come to epitomize modern fascination with the grotesquely useless and superficial. The artist regardless is conscious of branding his work with the very identifiable, signature image of a skull.
One surmises that in the artist's quest to get a rise out of divine powers, by subjecting Natural Law to (cryogenic) treatment in his formaldehyde installations he will either satisfy his gargantuan ego this time by attacking more directly the last redeeming deity and actualize his barren vision which he steeps in iconoclastic language, OR he will be humbled by first time failure. Moving from that to newer images (titles), Hirst seems to have found the direction in his clumsy essay and is now serving up a higher, more naked level of mischief. What was at first at times a demeaning battle of wits with fans, is breathing new life and heading for giddy heights of supernatural intelligence. It is hard to judge at this time whether this represents a momentary lapse or whether we can look forward to seeing art supercede the international morosity by shunning monstrosities for well, something "divine" by the other Hirst. Whichever the case, it's been one hell
of a ride ; )

"I'm looking forward to getting it. I like your work and your ideas.
I know you're not the famous Damien Hirst. That's not why I bought
it. I bought it because I liked it and could afford it, these days
money is the most elusive thing
you are right, the only thing you need to make art (besides ideas) is
money. perhaps not necessarily to make art but to get it out there
I like how you are challenging people's ideas of what defines art too.
Keep it up and thanks."
Michelle, USA
